PIGMENTED CREAMY ACTIVATOR
Pigmented cream activator.
Contains special blue-violet pigments that have the ability to transform depending on the pH of the solution. At an acidic pH, the activator appears yellow-amber, while at a basic pH it takes on an intense blue-violet color.

BEYOND COLD will therefore only be activated once mixed with lightening powders or oxidative dyes, taking on the required color to perform its neutralizing action.
BEYOND…DECO
BEYOND COLD enhances the lightening service performance by removing unwanted warm highlights, allowing you to achieve a more neutral result, which in most cases does not require toning or further neutralization.
BEYOND COLD can be used both on natural bases and on cosmetic colored bases (with a more limited effect on the latter). Starting from Level 4, a single application allows you to achieve a neutral result up to Level 9, depending on the type of lightening powder used.
If you want to obtain a platinum blonde starting from Level 4, it is recommended to perform double bleaching (following the instructions given in the BES lightening folder).
Once the desired degree of lightening is achieved, toning or neutralization will not be required, since BEYOND COLD will have already performed its neutralizing action throughout the process. However, to preserve the color, support hair health, and maintain cuticle integrity, it is essential to perform an acidifying action to lock in the reflection and keep the achieved shade over time.
BEYOND COLD can be mixed alone with the lightening product, observing the dilution ratio required by the specific powder (1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2).
It is recommended to use BEYOND COLD in its “pure” form (that is, only with the lightening product) from level 3/4 up to level 7.
Above level 7, BEYOND COLD should be diluted with another activator at the desired volume.
Up to level 7, the contributing pigments in the hair are expressed with such intensity that they balance out the neutralizing pigments in BEYOND COLD.
Beyond level 7, the contributing pigments lose the necessary intensity to balance the neutralizing action, so the blue/violet pigments will prevail, leaving unwanted cool undertones in the hair.
When performing bleaching or lightening beyond level 7 or on pre-lightened hair, it is essential to dilute BEYOND COLD with a non-pigmented activator (OXIBES, REGAL ZERO Activator, SOFT COLOR Activator) at the desired volume (0, 5, 10, 20, or 30 Vol.).
The dilution ratio should be determined by the stylist based on:
- Hair porosity
- Hair type (coarse, fine, thick, etc.)
- Pre-existing cosmetic tone
while always respecting the general rules of colorimetry. Remember that BEYOND COLD is a highly professional product intended for expert colorists only.
Example: DECOBES WHITE (60 grams) + BEYOND COLD (30 grams) + SOFT COLOR ACTIVATOR N°2 (30 grams).
For highlights, partial bleaching, or balayage on pre-lightened hair, it is advisable—whenever possible—to treat the pre-lightened areas with protective and inhibiting products such as COLOUR LOCK COLOR CHECK or COLOUR LOCK EMULSIONE D.
BEYOND…TONING
BEYOND COLD can be used to neutralize yellow tones after lightening by mixing it in a 2:1 ratio with Special Blond from Soft Color or Regal Zero, according to the desired result: natural, neutral, or cool.
Example: BEYOND COLD 60 grams + SOFT COLOR 10.47 30 grams – Processing time: monitor visually.
BEYOND…COLOR
To achieve cooler highlights, enhance the neutralizing effect of certain shades, or to emphasize and accentuate cool color tones, it is recommended to use BEYOND COLD mixed with the color, following these dilution ratios:
HI-FI:
– From level 1 to level 10 1:1
– 90 Series (Superlighteners) 1:1.5
– 900 Series (Ultralighteners) 1:2
REGAL ZERO:
– From level 1 to level 9 1:1.5
– Special Blonde 1:2
SOFT COLOR:
– From level 1 to level 10 1:1.5
– Special Blond and G. 1:2
BEYOND COLD depolymerizes the hair’s natural melanins, carrying out a neutralizing action. It thus diminishes the tones produced by the hair’s contributing pigments. In this way, the oxidative pigments of the shade will no longer need to oppose naturally expressed contributing pigments, but rather partially neutralized ones.
The final result will be an enhanced reflection of the chosen shade, particularly for cool tones, with results closer to the color chart.
BEYOND COLD can also be used for color cleansing or stripping actions to remove color build-up, dull or muted undertones, unwanted hues, and overlapping colors.
BEYOND COLD cannot be used alone or with direct colors or acidic semi-permanent colors. As these are acidic, they would prevent the activator from “transforming” and taking on its neutralizing color. BEYOND COLD is only activated when in contact with and mixed with alkaline substances during the oxidative process. Do not apply BEYOND COLD on ultra-lightened or platinum bases.
